5-Year Warranty and QVoice paid by insurance: The Benefits of Getting QVoice via AbleNet
Published on January 22, 2026
Dear AAC Families and Supporters,
We have incredibly exciting news to share that we believe will make a significant difference for many of you navigating the world of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)!
QVoice is thrilled to announce our recent acceptance into AbleNet, a remarkable organization dedicated to helping individuals secure funding for an AAC device through insurance. This partnership is a game-changer, making AAC technology more accessible to those who need it most.
What Does This Mean for You?
AbleNet specializes in streamlining the often-complex process of getting an AAC device funded by insurance. Here's how they make it easier:
- Paperwork Handled: Say goodbye to mountains of paperwork! AbleNet takes care of the intricate documentation required for insurance claims.
- 5 year device Warranty: Unlimited repairs are completed the day they are received to ensure communication is consistently available.
- "Love Your App" Guarantee: One of the most unique and beneficial aspects of AbleNet is their commitment to user satisfaction. If an AAC app isn't the right fit, they can change or swap the app at any time that better meets the user's needs. Learn more. This truly puts the individual's communication journey first!
Important Note: Your SLP is Key!
While this is wonderful news, it's important to remember that the process goes through your Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). AbleNet works directly with SLPs to ensure that the device and app selection is clinically appropriate and meets insurance criteria. This partnership reinforces the vital role SLPs play in the AAC journey.
We are so proud to be associated with an organization that shares our commitment to empowering individuals through communication. This partnership with AbleNet is a huge step forward in breaking down barriers to AAC access.

What Happens When Your Device Arrives?
Once your QuickTalker Freestyle arrives, there are just two essential steps to get you up and running with QVoice. Follow along here: AbleNet Getting Started page. Note: The link to schedule your activation is incorrect on that website, for QVoice schedule here: https://go.oncehub.com/ablecare
Step 1: Create Your New Apple Account First, you will need to set up a new dedicated Apple ID specifically for this device.

Step 2: Contact AbleNet to Purchase the Full Version This is the most important step! To unlock the full power of your device, you need to contact AbleNet to purchase and activate the full version of QVoice.
- Why is this needed? This ensures your subscription is properly linked and you have access to every feature QVoice offers for your communicator.
- How to do it: You can complete this by booking a short meeting with the ableCARE Team by clicking here: https://go.oncehub.com/ablecare. They will Ask you to purchase through the app, to do this:
To Purchase (with Ablenet Gift Card)
- Open your preferences by tap and hold on the Q menu in the top left corner of the app
